O presente artigo tem como objetivo realizar uma leitura crítica a respeito das fórmulas da sexuação assim como apresentadas por Jacques Lacan, ao longo dos Seminários 18 a 21, principalmente no que tange sua associação a um binarismo na nomeação de ambos os seus lados, propondo a um deles o título de ‘homem’ e a outro o título de ‘mulher’. A partir de um entendimento do estruturalismo e do significante, assim como propostos por Lacan, e da construção fundamentada na lógica (...) e na topologia que sustentam tais fórmulas, pretendemos demonstrar uma leitura delas que não se prende a esse binarismo, e que, portanto, pode evidenciarse mais condizente à proposta lacaniana de desessencialização e desontologização, no sentido clássico do termo. Aliado a isso, recorremos a um dos temas que são escritos pelas fórmulas, a inexistência da relação sexual, a qual, como Lacan propõe, vem a substituir o princípio aristotélico da não-contradição para a psicanálise, aparecendo como a impossibilidade de se constituir uma unidade entre o que poderia ser dito de uma essência e de uma existência, cópula nunca satisfeita entre sujeito e significante, restando sempre como não-todo, entendimento que, a partir da lógica da sexuação, pode nos dizer de uma diferença pura, sempre contraditória e paradoxal, dos modos de se constituir o sexual. El presente artículo se propone indagar los problemas que hacen al déficit de legitimidad de lo que ha dado en llamarse la "justicia política", esto es, las respuestas judiciales frente a herencias de criminalidad política. Sugerimos que se trata de problemas estructurales que están en los límites de lo jurídico y que, por tanto, no constituyen una falla del sistema judicial en sí mismo. Con ese fin, sobre la base de los análisis realizados por Danilo Zolo y Hannah Arendt, (...) examinamos problemas estructurales en tres niveles: en la imparcialidad e independencia del tribunal, en el respeto de los principios, las normas y los procedimientos del derecho, y en el requisito de un elemento subjetivo para atribuir la responsabilidad penal de un crimen. Le propos de notre article est celui de s'interroger sur les problèmes qui produisent un déficit de légitimité en ce qu'on a appelé la " justice politique ", c'est-à-dire, les réponses judiciaires qu'on donne au legs de criminalité politique. Nous suggérons qu'il s'agit de problèmes structurels qui se situent à la limite du juridique et qui, par conséquent, ne constituent pas une faille du système juridique lui-même. El propósito de este escrito es estudiar las investigaciones de Danilo Cruz Vélez sobre el nihilismo nietzscheano en relación con la metafísica. Para la consecución de este objetivo, se requieren parámetros para la comparación entre los trabajos y escritos del pensador colombiano con los estudios e investigaciones de Martin Heidegger, con el fin de establecer los nexos e influencias del pensador alemán en nuestro eximio filósofo colombiano. Lo anterior nos permite concluir, con la autoridad y el rigor de los (...) textos mismos, que las tesis de Cruz Vélez a este respecto no son más que la traducción del alemán al español de los estudios de Heidegger sobre Nietzsche, cosa que se produce como consecuencia de los seminarios impartidos por Heidegger en la universidad de Friburgo, a los cuales asistió Danilo Cruz Vélez en calidad de estudiante. Whether through its humanizing potential or, still, through its narrative quality, it reaches readers and offers them a plurality of tools to create texts, using established works as arguments. After all, literature holds within its scope narratives that are true treasures arranged as a testament for all of humanity. Thus, in this article, our goal is to analyze the literary work A verdadeira história de Chapeuzinho (...) Vermelho [The True Story of Little Red Riding Hood] (2020)1 by Agnese Baruzzi and Sandro Natalini, presented as a book-object with a keen materiality. We will seek to understand the characteristics of the work that promote literary aesthetic enjoyment, moving the work away from a didactic and moralizing perspective. To do so, we will comprehend the specificities of the verbal text, the imagery, and the materiality characteristics that pervade the work, understand the techniques, tools, and proposed interactions, as well as recognize the book’s multimodal capacity. From the 1980s/90s, Brazilian foreign policy adopted a more assertive agenda regarding neighboring countries in northern South America. In this context, the celebration of the Framework Agreement between Brazil and France is inserted, an institutional framework that implemented cross-border cooperation between Amapá and French Guiana. At the time, France was interested in projecting itself politically and commercially in South America. On the other hand, Brazil has also achieved success with this new agenda. However, after twenty-four years in force, cross-border cooperation (...) does not show effectiveness regarding the results expected by the collectives on both sides of the Guyano-Amapá border. This article seeks to discuss that the lack of local participation has become a contender in the development of this cooperation, which has not resulted in a political project capable of promoting the aggregation of cultural matrices that stimulate an identity of objectives. To development the reflection, non-participant observation, interviews with residents in the city of Oiapoque were used, as well as the examination of some agreements concluded between Brazil and France and the minutes of the meetings of the Joint Cross-Border Commission-CTM. The specificities that make the Guyano-Amapá border interesting to the governments of Brazil and France are found in the temporal experiences of multiple actors, unrelated to chronologies, but rather to the length of life lived. In a time marked by the development of innovative treatments in healthcare and the need for health professionals to deal with resulting ethical dilemmas in clinical practice, this study was developed to determine the influence of the bioethics teaching on the moral competence of medical and nursing students. The authors conduct a longitudinal study using the Moral Competence Test extended version before and after attending the ethics curricular unit, in three nursing schools and three medical schools of Portugal. In this (...) questionnaire the participant is confronted with three ethical dilemmas and asked to evaluate arguments for and against the attitude of the main character. For both nursing and medical students, C-score was lower after the attendance of the ethics curricular units, with a statistically significant decrease in the total score for nursing students and a decrease not statistically significant for medical students. A multivariate analysis did not find any association between this decrease and gender, course, or age. The phenomenon of moral segmentation was observed, with better performance in the worker and judge dilemma, than in the doctor dilemma. These results highlight the need to reflect on the curricular strategies that can be implemented for health professionals to better develop moral competence and decision-making, allowing for the provision of humanized health care. Diagnosing Challenging Oppositional Disorder on children and young people is approached by health as a disorder that has a compilation of features that can even make the disorder easily camouflaged or confused with others, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or Disorder. In addition to the discussions of a TOD’s clinical perception, it’s necessary to deconstruct some norms and look at this difference, through another perception in which it allows us to reflect TOD from a philosophical social perspective.This research sought (...) to reflect on characteristics present in the Disorder and problematize them according to the theory proposed by Michael Foucault about governmentality, this being a concept that basically expresses a manifestation of power in which conducts the conduct of the persons. As a result, the research points out that it is essential to analyze and monitor the behavior of children with suspicion of COD in different contexts, not supporting them only in medical characteristics. Relating to the concepts of the difference’s philosophy, can see children’s attitudes, seen by society as a diversion of behaviors, as manifestations of reverse-behaviors or even, resistance stemming from a normalizing society in the various institutions scattered by social knitting: at school, or family, which are the two most cited in this article. : Suppose a scientist discovers a new, unpredicted phenomenon. How can one ascertain the causes, properties and laws of the phenomenon? How can one plan the investigation of the circumstances that affect the phenomenon, and of the effects that the new phenomenon could produce? If the phenomenon is completely unexpected and does not fit any previous theory, it is impossible to provide a theoretical prediction of its likely properties. In the empiricist tradition, therefore, the recommended method was to investigate all (...) possibilities, because in such cases it is impossible to exclude a priori anything. William Stanley Jevons provided a clear criticism of this method. It is impossible to investigate all possibilities, because they are boundless. Is it then impossible to plan the research of unexpected new phenomena? No. Jevons pointed out an alternative. According to Jevons, a scientist confronting a new, unexpected phenomenon, should compare it to other known phenomena to establish analogies. This comparison should allow the researcher to find out one or several known phenomena similar to the new one. L’article présente la concordance et les accordages entre le travail processuel du psychologue en visite médiatisée et les fonctions maternelles assurées par l’assistant(e) familial(e) auprès de l’enfant accueilli. Dans une approche inter et transdisciplinaire garantie par un métacadre institutionnel sécurisant, le psychologue clinicien se trouve à l’articulation de ces instances complémentaires. Les enfants amenés à rencontrer leur(s) parent(s) en visite médiatisée se sont développés dans une famille aux liens pathologiques. Le clinicien vient assurer une fonction de moi-auxiliaire pour l’enfant, favorisant (...) l’émergence d’une autonomisation psychique possible quant à sa relation avec ses parents. Au sein de l’accueil familial, l’enfant exprimera les modalités relationnelles qui sont siennes, trouvera chez l’assistant(e) familial(e) une nouvelle figure parentale d’identification et d’attachement. O caminho que vai do filósofo ao filósofo-artista é construído com a aniquilação dos conceitos clássicos da estética e o confronto produtivo do mundo pessoal do filósofo e da arte, apresentados como a criação de novos valores. Para Nietzsche, a criatividade filosófica está a serviço da expressão do seu pensamento enquanto obra de arte (...) e o seu ponto de partida e de chegada é a vida. A condição humana”, de autoria de Hannah Arendt, possui conteúdos teóricos importantes para a compreensão das atividades humanas na atualidade e, entre elas, as exercidas pelos profissionais da área da saúde e neste momento, da Enfermagem. Dessa forma, pode-se analisar o relato dos Docentes de Enfermagem em relação à Vita Activa quando expõem a condição humana experienciada no cotidiano. Em outros termos, o labor está relacionado às atividades que correspondem ao processo biológico do corpo humano para garantir à subsistência: os (...) cuidados com o corpo do Enfermeiro Docente. Este é realizado por meio da alimentação, da higienização, do sono, do repouso, com uso de medicamentos e o acompanhamento com especialistas. Em relação ao work, os ED realizam uma obra manual e intelectual que compreende ao ensino dos estudantes e ao cuidado ao labor dos usuários do Sistema Único de Saúde. O work abrange também o fazer científico e as relações interpessoais na Universidade, as quais ocorrem por meio do comando, da obediência e com hierarquia. A action é estabelecida quando os ED agem e falam conjuntamente com os pares durante as reuniões de Departamento, nos Sindicatos e nos Conselhos Municipais de Saúde, atuando com igualdade, liberdade, responsabilidade, isto é, de maneira cidadã. O ED precisa estar ciente da importância destas três atividades da Vita Activa, pois além de consumir e produzir pode, ao exercer a política, iniciar novos processos que possibilitem mudanças em relação aos cuidados com o próprio labor, no processo de work e na convivência com os outros. Acredita-se que isto resultará na melhoria da qualidade de vida dele, do ensino em Enfermagem e dos cuidados de saúde aos usuários do SUS. (shrink)

Este texto analisa dois conceitos especificos da ética kantiana, a saber, virtude edever. No decorrer desta análise procura-se demonstrar que a matéria da virtude é o dever e que o formalismo Kkantiano não implica uma indiferença para com a realidade do mundo empírico. Para tanto, é abordada a abrangência da ética de Kant basicamente nas três obras principais de sua filosofia prática, isto é, na Fundamentação da Metafísica dos Costumes, na Crítica da Razão Prática e na Metafísica dos Costumes.

A primeira parte deste artigo mostra que tanto A. Philonenko quanto T. Rockomore, cada um a seu modo e por vias bastante distintas, parecem relativizar a importância dos ‘princípios’ da Doutrina da ciência. Num caso como no outro, em termos muito gerais, talvez pudéssemos dizer que a relação Kant-Fichte seria avaliada em função da dialética da primeira Crítica, tanto porque o uso da lógica geral como órganon só pode ser dialético, quanto porque a natureza hipotética da argumentação de Fichte deve (...) nos levar a uma interpretação não fundacionista de sua Doutrina-da-ciência. A segunda parte deste trabalho, em contraposição a essas leituras, analisara três textos de Fichte a fim de indicar que seria possível defender uma intepretação da Doutrina-da-ciência como uma espécie de aprofundamento da transcendentalização da lógica operada por Kant na primeira Crítica. Essa análise, nos limites deste trabalho, só poderá ser indicativa e esquemática; mas isso não impede, a meu ver, que ela possa sugerir uma chave frutífera para desenvolvimentos futuros. (shrink)

Although historians and philosophers of science usually try to explain the acceptance or rejection of hypotheses or theories by scientists, there are no well definite criteria to evaluate when a scientist accepts or rejects a theory/hypothesis. This work proposes a new method of analysis. The attitudes of scientists towards a theory or hypothesis are classified according to three dimensions (cognitive, instrumental and strategic). This method is exemplified by the study of the attitude of the British naturalist William Bateson (1861-1924) towards (...) chromosome theory. The analysis shows that Bateson never rejected the chromosome theory – a conclusion opposite to most historical accounts. RESUMEN: Los historiadores y los filósofos de la ciencia intentan explicar la aceptación o lo rechazo de determinadas hipótesis ó teorías por los científicos, pero no hay criterios claros que nos permitan decir lo qué es aceptación o rechazo. Este trabajo propone un nuevo método de análisis. Las actitudes de los investigadores son analizadas en relación a tres dimensiones (cognitiva, instrumental y estratégica). El método es ejemplificado por el estudio de la postura del naturalista inglés William Bateson (1861-1924) frente a la teoria cromosómica. El análisis que se realizó permitió verificar que Bateson jamás rechazó la teoría cromosómica, en contrario de lo que la mayoría de los historiadores afirman. (shrink)

This essay examines Pope Francis’s encyclical Laudato si’ from a Latin American perspective and its reception in this part of the world, especially in Brazil. It focuses on two aspects of Laudato si’: its dialogical approach, and the connection it makes between ecological issues and poverty. These two aspects allow us to understand Francis’s proposal of integral ecology and how the preferential option for the poor becomes central to his perspective. In this paper the use of mathematics in economics will be discussed, by comparing two approaches to mathematics, a Cartesian approach, and a Newtonian approach. I will argue that while mainstream economics is underpinned by a Cartesian approach which led to a divorce between mathematics and reality, the contributions of key authors of the Cambridge tradition, like Marshall, Keynes and Sraffa, are characterised by a Newtonian approach to mathematics, where mathematics is aimed at a study of reality. Marshall was influenced (...) by the Newtonian approach that still characterised many aspects of the Cambridge Mathematical Tripos, where the emphasis was on geometrical and mechanical examples rather than on symbolic (Cartesian) mathematics. Keynes, who criticised (Cartesian) symbolic mathematics, was indeed an admirer of Newton and of his method. Sraffa's mathematical constructions are also in line with the Newtonian approach where arithmetic and geometry were strictly separated, since Sraffa's mathematical constructions typically use arithmetic without engaging in the mixture between geometry and arithmetic that occurs in the Cartesian approach. O objetivo deste trabalho é desenvolver uma reflexão a respeito da leitura feita por Carl Schmitt dos intelectuais católicos como filósofos de Estado da contrarrevolução. Pontualmente, o trabalho concentra-se na relação estabelecida por Carl Schmitt entre Teologia Política e Constituição, a partir da análise das reflexões De Maistre e De Bonald, em especial no que diz respeito a leitura teológico-política de categorias centrais da teoria da constituição, como, por exemplo, a questão do poder constituinte e da constituição da ordem, uma (...) reflexão crítica de tais categorias não para restaurar a monarquia, mas, sim, apontando para a defesa da ditadura. Assim, partindo de um método hermenêutico, foram analisados os textos de bibliografia primária e, doravante, obras outras de interlocutores, bem como outros autores que se dedicaram ao problema em análise. Mainstream game theory explains cooperation as the outcome of the interaction of agents who permanently pursue their individual goals. Amartya Sen argues instead that cooperation can only be understood by positing a type of rule-following behaviour that can be out of phase with the pursuit of individual goals, due to the existence of a collective identity. However, Sen does not clarify the ontological preconditions for the type of social behaviour he describes. I will argue that Sen's account of collective identity (...) can be best interpreted in the light of John Searle's notion of collective intentionality, while Sen's explanation of rule-following behavior and agency is best understood using the critical realist transformational model of social activity. Language is a cognitively demanding human trait, but it is also a fundamentally cooperative enterprise that rests on the motivation to share information. Great apes possess many of the cognitive prerequisites for language, but largely lack the motivation to share information. Callitrichids (including marmosets and tamarins) are highly vocal monkeys that are more distantly related to humans than great apes are, but like humans, they are cooperative breeders and all group members help raising offspring. Among primates, this rearing system is (...) correlated with proactive prosociality, which can be expressed as motivation to share information. We therefore propose that the unique coincidence of these two components in humans set the stage for language evolution: The cognitive component inherited from our great ape-like ancestors, and the motivational one added convergently as a result of cooperative breeding. We evaluate this scenario based on a review of callitrichd vocal communication and show that furthermore, they possess many of the mechanistic elements emphasized by the mirror system hypothesis of language evolution. We end by highlighting how more systematic phylogenetic comparisons will enable us to further promote our understanding of the role of cooperative breeding during language evolution. (shrink)
